Smart Detector -Temperature Sensing Terminations

EMC Technology’s Smart Detector or Temperature Sensing Terminations provide a single chip solution for measuring True RMS RF power. Smart Detector responds to the heating effects of RF power and is ideal for amplifier, satellite, BITE, and other microwave circuit applications where RF power detection is needed.
The PST-10-A-1 has an external bias resistor which allows the user to set the bias current, thereby adjusting the linear output slope. The output slope can be adjusted from 200 mV/W to 500 mV/W. The output slope changes by approximately 19 mV/W for each additional mA.
